Broken Bow Lake Oklahoma

Anyone ever been?  May be taking a vacay there end of June. Had something booked in Seacrest Beach FL only to have the FL governor exclude LA from the lifting of the vacation rental ban.  Oklahoma makes me think of the Three Dog Night song "Well I've Never Been To Spain" LOL.  Looks there are plenty of hiking options and lake activities. Also found a couple breweries, wineries and a distillery. Honestly, I'll be happy simply to get away into the woods, last two months have been very stressful.  But I am thankful and count my blessings instead of worrying etc.

A bunch of my friends are in Fla right now.
If anyone wants to go to Orange Beach, my friends own a condo in one of the Pheonix Resorts. 2BR, 2BA, 14th floor overlooking the Gulf. Both indoor and outdoor pools.

Hatch, back to the original question, I’ve spent a little time in Ok, I kind of rather Branson or Creede, Co.

That Arkansas area is great, we’ve camped in just about every area up in Arkansas. Lake’s, Ouachita, Greason, Hamilton, DeGray, Catherine. Huntsville Space and Rocket Center in InbredGumps, also in Boaz area, Nocalula Falls campground.

In Ga, Lake Lanier Island, Black Rock Mountain, or you can go where little Nicky has his place on Lake Burton/Moccasin Creek.

Too many areas to camp, rent cabins.
Let me know if you need more information.

Well we had a great time. I can certainly recommend it if you are the outdoor type. Lots to see. Plenty of good hikes.  We did one with a fairly steep 500' elevation change.  Rented a boat for an afternoon on the lake.  Couple of good breweries, wineries and a distillery. Plenty of good places to eat and very nice cabins to rent.  Some of the "cabins" are quite luxurious. Here are a couple pics from some of the hikes.
