Fishhead
Listened while driving back from Seadrift this evening. LSU finally gave up over 60, but not in regulation. LSU beat Penn St 68-63 in OT! LSU shot the ball HORRIBLY, but when you get 16 offensive rebounds and as many turnovers, while only committing 6 or 7, you can get away with a bad showing offensively. Again the defense was stifling! Multiple shot clock violations forced by LSU. Stat of the night...PSU, not typically a 3 point shooting team, took THIRTY SEVEN THREES! Made 12 which pretty much was their offense, but LSU forced their hand by locking down the interior. Great defense, great rebounding, great from the line. PSU had hardly any free throw opportunities. Like John Brady kept mentioning, stifling defense but without fouling. It's impressive on a night the offense really struggles. Tari Eason easily player of the game. Scored 20 and played good defense, took over late and ended the Nittany Lions hope with a steal on their last possession, shortly after sinking a pair of freebies to put the game away. 6-0!
COTiger
We made 13 more free throws than Penn St. That was the difference in the ball game imo.

Yes, we played tough defense without fouling. That and the offensive rebounds.
