Nutriaitch Posted December 17, 2021 Posted December 17, 2021 Trey Palmer reminds me of a baseball player from 15-20 years ago. Wily Mo Peña. Chances are, ole boy gonna strike out. somewhere in those 3 strikes he hits a foul ball that flies 527 feet. And EVERY NOW AND THEN, that ball stays fair and it’s electric as hell to watch it soar. That’s Palmer with a football anywhere near his hands. He’s had his share of drops, bad routes, poor decision making in return game etc. but EVERY NOW AND THEN, he gets a seam while holding the ball. And holy shyte is it fun to watch him run. The punt return in ‘19. The kickoff return after dropping it against USCe last year. His Todd Kinchen impersonation against A&M this year. all exciting and electric plays that make you want to keep giving him chances. The gals between those are just to damn big to keep ignoring. Hatchertiger Posted December 17, 2021 Posted December 17, 2021 Simply being very fast does not automatically make you a great receiver. Remember Xavier Carter? The scuttlebut is that CBK set up interviews with each player. Palmer showed up late for his and w/ an attitude. He then announced he was entering the portal. All allegedly. 1 Quote
