Nutriaitch
today would have been Andrew Wood’s 56th birthday. Most of you that aren’t die hard 90s music fans probably don’t even know who he was. Was singer of a band called Mother Love Bone. They were the band from Seattle that was supposed to break out and make it big, but he died before they did. Mother Love Bone split and became Pearl Jam and Soundgarden and inspired many others. Mother Love Bone
Nutriaitch
his death had a huge impact on the Seattle scene. most of his bandmatea got together to record a tribute album. One of the absolute greatest most complete albums ever recorded. Temple of the Dog
Nutriaitch
possibly the best song in Alice in Chains’ catalog was also written in tribute to him
Nutriaitch
i’m not a huge Candlebox fan, but they too got in on the tributes with another song that made it huge
Nutriaitch
while Pearl Jam doesn’t have any songs directly about/for Andy, ever member not named Eddie Vedder played with him so i’m throwing in one of theirs too

Hatchertiger
There are many connections between some unbelievable musical talent. To me the greatest of all of them was Chris Cornell. His voice was just of the charts.
