LSUDad Posted January 10, 2022 Author Posted January 10, 2022 LSU great Kevin Faulk to be inducted into College Football Hall of Fame in Sports Source: LSU Sports Information By: Michael Cauble Louisiana legend and LSU running back Kevin Faulk will be inducted into the 2022 College Football Hall of Fame later this year. Faulk is credited with helping to turn around LSU football in the early 1990's when he committed to play for his home-state team. The Carencro native is the SEC’s leader in career all-purpose yards and the school’s all-time leading rusher. “All praise goes to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,” Faulk said. “This is an honor that wouldn’t be possible without my great teammates, coaches and everyone who helped me along the way. It’s a tremendous honor but for me, but it was a team effort. I’m so humbled and honored to be included among the great list of players and coaches in the Hall of Fame Class for 2022.” Faulk, who just wrapped up a three year run as the LSU running backs coach, becomes the 11th LSU player to enter the College Football Hall of Fame following on the heels of former LSU Tiger Glenn Dorsey who was inducted in during the 2021 season. 3 Quote
