COTiger Posted March 31, 2022 Posted March 31, 2022 I'm glad to see the young man has turned his life around and represents LSU in an outstanding manner. Well done Tyrann!! Quote
houtiger Posted March 31, 2022 Posted March 31, 2022 Tyrann said he has played nine years in the NFL. He tore the ACL in one knee his first year in Phoenix, rehabed and tore the ACL in the other knee the next year. He rehabed. I think he played three more good years in Phoenix but they didn't want to pay him top dollar so he played a year in Houston. They loved him, said he was great in the locker room, a leader, but they didn't want to offer him multiple years. KC signed him and I think he played three years in KC and they have released him. By NFL standards, and with two prior ACL's, he's probably lost a step, and KC can get his production or better at a lower price point. It's just the reality of the NFL. If he goes out now, and he handled his money well, he should be set for life. I'm sure someone will pick him up for a year or two, but probably he'll have to take a pay cut. Quote
