LSU women's basketball coach Kim Mulkey has picked up her biggest commitment since taking the job in Baton Rouge as Mikaylah Williams of Bossier City (LA) Parkway has committed to the Tigers.

The class of 2023 6-foot-1 combo guard committed to LSU over Baylor, Duke, Ole Miss and Texas A&M.

Williams has been Gatorade’s Louisiana Player of the Year two straight years.

Last season, she averaged 22.8 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 2.2 steals per game.

Next week,  Williams will take off for Europe where she’ll compete with Team USA in the 2022 FIBA U17 World Cup (July 9-17), in Debrecen, Hungary.  She competed with that team last summer as well.

In Last years event, Williams was named MVP and the USA took home the gold.

Williams is been ranked as the top overall prospect in the nation by both HoopGurlz and ProspecsNation.
