houtiger
Reminded me of this. Aldus Roger was a big celebrity in the 60's, had a TV show every Sunday around noon, no english spoken, only French. He played all over the area. Bosco is the tiny community where I grew up on the Superior Oil Co. oil field company housing. This is the Bosco 7 miles outside of Cankton, there is another Bosco La. that is bigger, but that is not where I grew up. Whitney Guillot had a barber shop, and Alcee Thibodeaux had a little grocery where I caught the school bus. There was a cotton gin until it closed in the late 60's.
