Herb
The team with the better depth won. We knew this was a rebuilding year and we lost a lot of talent last year. Texas A&M not only didn't lose as much talent as we did but they had arguably the best recruiting class in the history of college football this past year. This was their bowl game. As Dachsie pointed out in chat, their season ended tonight whereas we have 2 more games left.
houtiger
What do we not like about aTm? To them, its all about the money. This is a topic from texags. #6 is Achane, the RB. They want to outbid the NFL to keep him! Time to pony-up NIL for #6…. maroonthrunthru Get him more than a 2nd round pick… LatinAggie1997 Agreed. Get him paid to stay and see if his draft status improves. He can make some money, help lead the team, and use track as a safety net. MaxPower I'd love to have him back. I don't think he's a second rounder. Third is probably his best bet and he'd be a great fit for a team like the Chiefs. Round doesn't matter much for a RB. It's all about getting to free agency as quickly as you can. LatinAggie1997 I think the OP is suggesting a payday of 2nd round to make returning worth it. Then I found this: Quote NFL draft picks in the second and third round will still land lucrative salaries for 2020. According to Over the Cap, the salaries for the second-round draft picks range from $1,579,416 to $952,995. Third-round pick salaries range from $899,198 to $818,073. So, they want a $1 million plus NIL deal to keep Achane!
