Florida comes in trying to get on the right side of the bubble, and a road win against a ranked LSU would do wonders for the GayTurds' chances.

LSU, meanwhile, is fighting for seeding...and respect. The Tigers have been winning ugly, but winning nonetheless. They went on the road and beat Kentucky at Rupp last week. Kentucky followed up that loss by throttling then #1 Tennessee... who comes to LSU Saturday. Meanwhile, AU, whom LSU also beat, is favored to beat Tennessee, but LSU is a home dog against the Vols Saturday.

Geaux figure?

And...

GEAUX TIGERS!!

33-31 FU at the half. Odd game with FU really controlling the pace slowing things down. LSU plays in the mid/upper 80s and we're well off that pace.

FU has gotten easy buckets on in bound plays,,, something i bet Mr. Wade takes care of at halftime.

Good game so far, Waters quiet so far. FU doubling Reid and keeping Waters from easy looks.

It'd be easy to say FU wanted it more, but two things that LSU has done well all year, they did NOT do well tonight.

Free throws

Offensive rebounds

It's actually not that they didn't get a lot of offensive rebounds, but they did little with them and FU got a ton themselves... and did something with them. This with basically a team of guards for FU.

Bottom line though... shoot free throws like we normally do and win comfortably.

On to Tennessee Saturday at the PMAC for the conference lead.

I don't like losing.

This loss takes a wee bit of pressure off of the Tigers but also puts some on them.  A conference loss is never good, but its not the end of the world.

It makes the Vols game more important then it already was but at the same time allows LSU to play a little looser.

The P-MAC will be rocking Saturday.
