LSUDad
As for now, the roster number is at 89-90 players. After Spring more will have moved on. This will be a continuation getting to the 85 number. Who has worked the hardest in the Spring? Who has worked in the Summer? As the depth chart changes, folks will be moving on. Going through Spring will realign the roster. Far from a finished product. I don’t know if anyone will have a better OL than LSU. I like where we are at TE and RB. QB returning Nuss and bringing in a proven SEC QB, are a major plus. We lose a bunch at WR, but what returns and what was picked up in the portal, we will be good. I looking forward to see what the Spring game brings. I often tell folks, most times, I don’t follow the ball. Kelly has cleaned up his defensive side of the ball. He went in an took a number of coaches off the Missouri Staff. We will see a change. We will see more of an attacking defense, something LSU has been known for. The last thing I’ll talk about pertaining to this roster, the 2024 signing class, 66% of this class is from the state of Louisiana. I see this to continue, the La. folks, then continue the Tx connections. We have a little time before the first game in Vegas! houtiger
I always appreciate your insights! I look forward to next season and a new defense. I agree the OL should be stout, plenty of quality experience up front. We need to replace the center and Brad Davis should be able to do that. At RB, Kaleb Jackson should step up, may be RB 1. We're not sure what Trey Holly can do, he broke one nice run so he has speed, but we'll see. Josh Williams returns so we have good depth. Caden Durham will arrive, but Kelly does not seem to want to play a freshman. I'm still concerned about DL quality and depth. Following Spring, maybe we will hit the portal. Then there is that 4* DL that was released by TX when Bo Davis came to LSU, maybe we get him.
