Big T
Who took the mound today? Betting it was my boy "Thatcher" If there were ever a kid destined to be ahh screw it Who names their kid after a freaking thorn bush?
Big T
Like seriously, there is absolutely no excuse for a coach "that" good at a school like LSU to have a team that is this freaking awful. Can't pitch, can't hit, probably can't catch either. It's bullshite!

Demand better! ok coach, you still haven’t answered the question. Who would you have batted in place of Milazzo? then what other changes would you make at this point in the season? we all know how great your insight was last year. so please wow us again with your brilliance. oh right, it’s that group of 10 year olds that are more accurate pitchers than Randy Johnson was. This team straight up sucks. When they earn my time I'll be happy to tune in. Perhaps in two or three years. It's unforgivable for an LSU team to be this freaking bad. Especially with our super star coach. Phisssh cell phones, yeah that was it.

Nutriaitch
i mean do you honestly expect that after fielding 9 starters, plus a PH earlier in the game that it’s common to have a fucking stud just chilling on the bench? seriously?

Changes will be made (can’t flip a roster mid season, so it has to wait til offseason) but you sound like the illiterate group of teeny-boppers on Droppings with this didley-poo. they always go undefeated on PlayStation, so why isn’t LSU also undefeated? Sounds a lot like an excuse! I want killers! Marauders! Put em out of their misery types! We have zero of them! Not a single pitcher that we can count on for a win! Not a bat that we can count on and that includes Tanks because he is in his head. This team is cursed and that is a kind way of saying (phucked). They will win nothing. Probably not a single series in the SEC and certainly not more than one if they can manage that. Total disappointment!
Nutriaitch
OK, I'll try to break it down in a way that your 1st grade attention span can understand. 9 hours ago, Big T said: Sounds a lot like an excuse! I want killers! Marauders! Put em out of their misery types! an excuse? you ask me what's wrong, so I tell you issues we have and you call it an excuse? it's not an excuse, it's a problem that needs fixing. 9 hours ago, Big T said: We have zero of them! Not a single pitcher that we can count on for a win! want me to blow your mind? Holman right now doesn't have the ridiculous numbers that Skenes did last year 9nobody else in history of SEC baseball ever has). But he has thrown more innings and has more wins than Skenes did at same point in the season. and a 2.02 ERA is 2nd best in conference among starters and both Gage Jump and Kade Anderson are damn near identical to what Ty Floyd was at this point last season Floyd - 3.77 ERA ; 34 1/3 IP ; 38 K ; 14 BB Jump - 3.98 ERA ; 31-2/3 IP ; 38 K ; 11 BB Anderson - 3.22 ERA ; 22 1/3 IP ; 37 K ; 11 BB (doesn't have the innings, but rest of numbers are right in line) so I guess you meant other than a guy keeping pace with the won-loss record of the best pitcher the SEC has ever seen, and having 2 guys pretty much the equivalent of our next best guy from last year. and trust me, you do not want me go past Floyd on last year's roster and compare them to this season. it will only make you saying this part look even dumber than it already does. the problem is in the bullpen. losing the guy you absolutely HATED last year (Stapleton) is a bigger loss than damn near anyone else from that squad. Big Nate taking a huge step back also hurts. Hopefully he can figure out whatever is going wrong with him. Hellmers needs to fill the Garrett Edwards role. and Noot has only thrown one inning so far (not a great one). But that's his first action in 18 months. So he should improve from here on out. Cam Johnson is the one that concerns me. He apparently was not ready for that jump from HS to big time college. He's not the first guy that was like that. 9 hours ago, Big T said: Not a bat that we can count on and that includes Tanks because he is in his head. you mean the guy that is tied for 2nd most HR and RBI in the SEC in conference play? what a fucking bum. 9 hours ago, Big T said: This team is cursed and that is a kind way of saying (phucked). They will win nothing. Probably not a single series in the SEC and certainly not more than one if they can manage that. oh, I forgot, you don't even watch the games. we're about 4 pitches away from having won 2 of the 4 SEC series we've played so far. Both against top 10 teams. 9 hours ago, Big T said: Total disappointment! we are not a good team right now. again, nobody is sugarcoating that. but we are a lot closer than what you're painting the situation. we need to find consistency in the bullpen. The exact same thing happened in regular season last year. Then, we figured it out and look what happened. as far as the lineup/fielding, most of our issues seem to be up the middle. Milam and Pearson have both shown they can play 2B and both can hit. neither of them has been able to put it all together for more than a game or two at a time. one of them really needs to step up and find that groove and take the position over. Braswell needs to sit. now THAT is a player that's in his head. Personally, I would try Milam/Pearson at SS and the other at 2B for a game or two. See if that clears up Braswell's cobwebs. CF, I think Jay has given up on seeing if Kling can hit (spoiler alert: he can't). so I expect that to be better going forward. Catcher is the more difficult one. Travinski needs to be DH, because he just isn't a good defensive Catcher. But he can mash (needs to cut down on the strikeouts though) Neal has a lot more power in his bat than O'Malley. And while he doesn't necessarily suck behind the plate, he's also not amazing. O'Malley is what he is. Probably the best defensive catcher in the league. Might be the best defensive catcher LSU has ever had. He hits for a solid average the last year and a half, but has zero power. Neal has 11 extra base hits so far (The Vibe has 16) O'Malley has 1. And he had only 1 all of last season too. So do you stick with the guy that has potential to drive in more runs, but also has the potential to cost you runs behind the plate? Or, do you go with the guy that won't be the offensive force, but is as close to 0% chance as you'll ever see at costing you runs that lead to a loss as you'll ever see? and before you say we need a guy that does both, trust me those guys just don't exist in the college game. That is so rare of a combo that those fellers go straight into the MLB draft and never set foot on campus. there you go, a break down of the actual things I see with this team. so other than looking at the score and guessing what happened then spewing hyperbole here, do you have anything of actual substance to say on the team? Nutriaitch
9 hours ago, Big T said: Tell me again how he has all these wins? my apologies, I forget I'm talking to someone with a Baseball IQ somewhere around the average temps of Antarctica. try to follow along. I know it's tough since I don't have crayons to draw it out for you. weekend STARTING PITCHING is not the issue with this team. you can't seem to grasp that our starters are pitching quite well that was the first group you chucked under the buss in your drivel. basically proving that you don't actually watch or follow the games at all so you have no clue what the hell you are talking about. then you also called out Tommy White. a guy who currently is tied for 2nd in the league in HRs in conference play and has 3 RBI fewer than the league leader. so again, you're casting blame on someone who is not the problem. in another post you slam Jay for "pinch hitting" Milazzo, when he wasn't even a pinch hitter. then you throw out that he can't hit when he's sporting a BA above .300 you make it painfully obvious that you don't even pay any attention to what is actually happening on the field. and when I attempt to discuss the issues, all you can say is "we suck", "Jay sucks", "scoreboard".
