A start with Will Campbell. This one's an easy one. Looks to be the first OT taken, in next years NFL Draft. Every Preseason book and publication has him as the first OL and Tackle taken. Emery Jones won't be far behind. Another on the line that's eligible at OT, Bo Bordelon, yep, Red Shirt Sophomore. We should have 4 on the OL in 2025 NFL camps next season. Campbell, Jones, Dellinger and Frazier all makeup one of the best OL's in the Nation.

DJ Chester will start the OC position. "Played 16 crucial snaps in LSU’s win over Missouri when starter Charles Turner was forced to leave the game with an injury. Smart player with a great understanding of LSU’s offensive scheme. Appeared in 4 games as a true freshman, seeing action on 81 offensive snaps." A4* player, in high school, started all three positions on the OL.

Will is as dominant as any OL in college football. At 6'6" 320lbs. On a farme that carries this weight very well. When he get locked in on a defense lineman, it's over. Coach Davis talks about how long it took him to take over the Left Tackle position. Davis talks about his true freshman starting OT.

As LSU enters the 2024 season, its biggest star comes at a bit of a thankless position.

Will Campbell has done nothing but dominate in his two-year career, starting from Day 1 as a former five-star and protecting Jayden Daniels’ blindside admirably. Now, he enters what is likely his final season as he’s seen by many as a potential top-five pick in the 2025 NFL draft.

Campbell will almost certainly hear his name called early on Day 1, but what are his chances of being the first player selected? Offensive linemen rarely go first overall, but especially in a class without a clear top quarterback at this point, he could play his way into that spot.

ESPN evaluated his chances to do just that, giving him a 6% chance to go first overall.

Campbell Named Outland Trophy National Player of the Week

LSU offensive tackle Will Campbell had the highest pass blocking grade of any offensive tackle in the Tigers’ 34-17 win over UCLA. For his standout play in one of the weekend’s most-watched intersectional games, Campbell has earned the Outland Trophy National Player of the Week honor for games played the weekend of Sept. 21.
