R.I.P. College Football

Thank you 2023 CFB Playoff Committee for officially killing off what was once the greatest sport on the planet. Others have tried before you came along, but you finally accomplished it. For over a century, College Football was the only sport that could truly poke out its chest and boast that "every game matters". And for more than a century, through multiple methods of naming a champion, it always did its absolute best to stick to that philosophy. It wasn't always perfect. And many ye

Character ... Grit

character   noun : the complex of mental and ethical traits marking and often individualizing a person, group, or nation I don't know who said it originally, but someone once stated "Football doesn't build character, it reveals it".  Basically, saying you are who you are. The Numbers Game

This is a feature I'll try to update throughout the season, after every 3rd game.  So this is the first installment of "The Numbers Game".  Let's look at some numbers.  Kicker:  Cole Tracy has become quite the popular young man amongst LSU fans.  And why not?  After the trouble LSU had last season even making XPs, the difference is night and day with Tracy.  So far on the season, all he's done is make 8-9 FGs with 2 over 50 yds, and of course perfect on XPs.  And lest we forget
