Nutriaitch Posted February 15, 2020 Author Share Posted February 15, 2020 Did not get to watch as closely as I would have liked (won't be able to today either),but i liked how we looked for opening day. was a chilly night with non-favorable winds and we still slapped a pair of dongs. Henry looks like a Friday night guy. 3 hits, 8 K's, no walks. A human being used his LEFT ARM to throw a pitch for us. Sticking to my gut that Beck will be a closer at some point this season. Garza sniped a guy attempting a steal (something we seriously lacked last season). Crowd looked to be good sized despite being cold, windy, and during Mardi Gras. Couple (minor) complaints: Kaminer had the dude at 3rd if he gets ball out of glove clean. Very next batter hit a perfect Double Play ball that would have ended the inning without the run scored.
