Before the championship game they interviewed Jimbo Fisher, who had lost to Clemson and LSU. They asked him when they played LSU, what did he see on the field. He said "confidence". He said before they beat InbredGumps, they thought they were good, and after they beat InbredGumps, they KNEW they were good, they believed they would win. I can see that. And maybe the best thing that happened to us was the defense getting lit up by OM. They needed to refocus, maybe the coaches as well as the players, but they played better each week after the poor game against OM. Maybe they realized they couldn't take any games lightly, couldn't take any plays lightly. I think the OM game was good for the D.
