Ruffin Rodrigue Jr RIP

Former LSU player, no details yet on how he died.  He was a freshman at LSU in 1985 so he's probably around 53 years old.  His dad played for LSU in the 60's and others in his family as well.  He opened Ruffino's here in Lafayette a few years back and it has been a resounding success.

Ruff, Nacho and Big E.
Ruff was always generous in giving back.
Dr Joe, a few others and I had dinner at Superior Grill a few months back.

As for Andolsek, I was up in Dallas, years back, met up with a number of coaches, in the group was Bert Hill. He was on the staff of the Lions during the time Eric was there. Bert had a number of stories on Andolsek.

Eric Andolsek was born on this day in 1966. Andolsek would be a 2x All-SEC OL in 1886-1987 & be drafted by Detroit Lions in the 5rd of the 1988 Draft. He was struck by a semi truck while working in his yard in 1992 that killed him at age of 25.
RIP Eric
