Hatchertiger Posted March 21, 2021 Share Posted March 21, 2021 To me, our young team needed this. We outhit and could have beaten them in game 2. Lots of positives to take from this series. I love Beloso but that change needed to happen and it paid off. There are situations in baseball where benching someone is not a punishment. Baseball is a mental game and players need the mental rest from time to time. Beloso hasn't forgotten how to hit a baseball. But continuing to play him was doing him and the team no good.
