Nutriaitch
today is the 74th Anniversary of Jackie breaking the color barrier in Baseball. I can’t even imagine the shyte that man had to go through to do so. And while i really love that MLB commemorates this date every year, i think having everyone (including bat boys) wear 42 waters it down. I think it should be no more than one person per team. Chosen by him teammates. it should be the ONE guy on that team that most honors Jackie’s legacy. a guy that shows class, courage, and dignity all while playing the game the right way. Hard and Aggressive but also clean and following “the code”. it should be an absolute honor to get to wear that number that day and not something that every swinging dick in the league gets to do.
