That's cool!

I different comment.  I saw an interview with OBJ, who was mostly an ass in the later days with NY and most of the time with Cleveland.  Somehow, he seems a humble guy with the Rams.  The coach has spoken well of OBJ.  It looks like he still has his skill.  It would be nice to see OBJ and Whitworth in the SB.

If KC throws the game at Cincy that they threw at Buffalo, KC is gonna win.  I know Cincy beat them in the regular season, but KC looked very sharp last weekend, they stepped it up two notches last weekend in playoff mode.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase was named 221 Offensive Rookie of the Year by the Professional Football Writers of America. Chase also made the All-Rookie team.

Chase caught 81 passes for 1,455 yards and 13 touchdowns. He averaged 18 yards per catch. Chase’s 13 touchdowns set a Bengals rookie record, which receiver Isaac Curtis previously held in 1973 with nine touchdowns. His 81 receptions were most ever by a Bengals rookie, breaking Chris Collinsworth and Tee Higgins’s record of 67. In addition, Chase’s 1,455 receiving yards broke A.J Green’s record of 1,057 yards that Green set in 2011.

He broke another impressive record in a Week 17 win over the Kansas City Cheifs; Chase broke the most receiving yards by a rookie in one game. Chase had 266 receiving yards on 11 catches and three touchdowns.

The rookie receiver had five 100-yard receiving games, the most by a Bengals rookie. Chase also proves that he knows how to produce when the lights get bright in the playoffs. Against the Las Vegas Raiders on Wild Card Weekend, Chase caught nine passes for 116 yards; then, in the next round against the Tennessee Titans, the receiver hauled in five catches for 109 yards setting more records.

Chase is on his way to becoming one of the best receivers in NFL history if he can stay healthy and keep up this level of play. After that, the sky is the limit for Chase the NFL.

CINCINNATI (WAFB) - Cincinnati Bengals and former LSU quarterback Joe Burrow has been named the 2021 NFL Comeback Player of the Year by the Pro Football Writers of America (PFWA) on Friday, Jan. 28. Burrow bounced back from a torn left ACL he suffered in Week 11 of his rookie season in 2020.

During his second year in the league Burrow has been instrumental in helping turn around the Bengals and reaching their first AFC Championship game since 1988. For the season Burrow has passed for 4,611 yards which ranked No. 6 in the league and his 34 passing touchdowns ranked No. 8 which is a franchise record for the Bengals.

This postseason the former No. 1 overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft helped lead the Bengals to their first playoff win in 31 years with a win over the Las Vegas Raiders in the Wildcard Round. Burrow also led Cincinnati to their first road playoff win in franchise history in the Divisional Round with a win over the No. 1 seed Tennessee Titans.

The 2019 Heisman Trophy winner will become the first quarterback drafted No. 1 to play in a conference championship game in his first two seasons. Burrow and the Bengals will face off against the defending AFC Champs in the Kansas City Chiefs, it will be a rematch from Week 17 a game in which the Bengals won 34-31 and Burrow threw for 446 yards and four touchdowns.

The AFC Championship game will be Sunday, Jan. 30 at 2 p.m. and can be watched on WAFB-TV.

What some might not know, the Bengals head coach, he was a GA at aTm (2008-2011).

Taylor is married to Sarah Sherman, daughter of former Green Bay Packers' head coach Mike Sherman and they have four children together.

His sister, Kathryn, is a Special Olympics swimmer. His youngest sister Quincy resides in Oklahoma City. Taylor's younger brother, Press, is a senior offensive assistant for the Indianapolis Colts.

I watched the Rams - Niners game and at the end, Stafford had a big hub for Whitworth.  McVay went looking for someone, saw Whitworth and Stafford, ran over to them, gave Whit a big hug, then joined a group hug with Whit and Stafford.  Stafford said during his interview he was happy with the win because he had been in the league so long and the goal is to get to the SB (to win it actually), but that he was also happy for so many people in the locker room that deserved that trip.  I am sure there are many, but I think Whitworth is one of them he was thinking of.  Whit recently turned 40, so he's nearing the end of his run.  Another thing, during the trophy presentation to the owner of the Rams, Stafford was on the stage, and Whit was on the stage.  They did not interview him then, but it seems the Rams view him as a leader.  Even standing with the linemen, Whit looks big.  I watched Whit play, and I thought he is still a heck of a left tackle.  I didn't see his man get by him.  No wonder Stafford hugged him, he's got his blind side.  I thought Whit made it look easy.  He signed with the Rams about 3 years ago as a free agent, Cincy did not want to pay his salary at that level.  And Cincy is in the SB, hard to say they made a big mistake.

The Miami Dolphins trade offer to Cincinnati Bengals for the pick used on Joe Burrow is insane

The Miami Dolphins are going to have a tough time watching Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals play the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game on Sunday.

That’s because the Dolphins will be seeing Burrow thrive for another AFC team.

You see, Miami was hoping the former LSU football quarterback would be suiting up in South Beach.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported on Sunday morning that Miami called the Bengals up and offered an insane trade that most teams probably would’ve taken.

According to Rapoport, the Dolphins called the Bengals in early 2020 and offered them all three No. 1 picks they had in 2020, which included the No. 5 overall pick (Miami used that pick on Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa).

Rapoport noted that Miami could’ve potentially added more to that offer.

The Bengals weren’t even willing to entertain an offer for the No. 1 pick. Cincinnati quickly said no thanks to Miami. The Bengals were locked in all along on Burrow and there was no changing their mind (even though there were some rumors at the time that Cincy was considering trading the pick…that rumor turned out to not be rooted in fact).

Offering three first-round picks for a player — since we know Miami would’ve obviously been selecting Burrow with the No. 1 pick — is an extremely bold move.

Turning down that trade without trying to get more is an even bolder move.

It turns out both teams were right — Burrow is a legitimate superstar who is set to be one of the NFL’s top quarterbacks for years to come.

(With Ben Roethlisberger, Drew Brees, and Peyton Manning retired, plus Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady on their way out, the new generation of elite quarterbacks is Burrow, Patrick Mahomes, Justin Herbert, Lamar Jackson, and Josh Allen. Some pretty good players.)

The Dolphins will be watching Burrow on Sunday thinking it could’ve been them in that game.

And it probably would’ve been — that’s the kind of impact Burrow has on a team.

American Airlines to create flight to honor Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals

American Airlines will create flight No. 9 in honor of Joe Burrow, to take fans nonstop from Cincinnati to Los Angeles for the Super Bowl. Seats will go on sale soon, according to Andy Slater.

Joe Shiesty, Joe Brrr, Super Bowl Burrow — call him whatever you like, but he’s becoming a Cincinnati legend before our very eyes whether you like it or not.

The Ohio-native is now fully embraced by the Cincinnati community and the plane solidifies it. A brilliant marketing move by American Airlines, fans are going make this the hottest-selling flight out of CVG International in a long time.

Of course, thanks to Burrow, the Bengals are Super Bowl bound for the first time since 1989 when they lost to the San Francisco 49ers 20-16 in Super Bowl 23. The only other time they’ve made an appearance was in ’82 in another loss to the 49ers 26-21 during Super Bowl 16. The franchise is still looking for their first championship in organization history.

They’re now set to make their first Super Bowl in 34 season by defeating the Kansas City Chiefs. For the the two teams, it was the second matchup between them this season, also meeting in Week 17. Both ended with the Bengals on the winning end after being down by double digits at one point during the game. It’s the first time that has been done in NFL history against the same team in one season.

“No team in NFL history has overcome a halftime deficit of 10+ points to win in multiple games against the same opponent in a single season (including playoffs),” the official NFL Research account said on Twitter. “The Bengals trailed KC by 11 at halftime in Wk 17 (won 34-31) … and trailed by 11 at halftime of the AFC Championship.”

Burrow was the catalyst to the comeback and turned it on during the second half down two scores. He threw for 250 yards, two touchdowns, and what was thought to be a costly interception at the time. However, the Bengals’ defense was able to come up clutch.

Now, he will be playing in the Super Bowl against the Los Angeles Rams. Burrow has been nothing but magnificent over the closing stretch of the season, coming up in clutch moments continually for the Bengals. He has the chance to get a statue to put outside Paul Brown Stadium in process with a win on Feb. 13.

If you’re in the Cincinnati area and need a flight, stay tuned to American Airlines’ flight schedule and maybe you could be on flight No. 9 heading to LA in less than two weeks.
