Saints management confirmed Benson's charitable gift to WDSU sports anchor Fletcher Mackel. Advertisement Benson gave nearly $100,000 to pay for layaway items at the Walmart on Tchoupitoulas Street, money that will help pay for at least 400 layaway orders.
