LSUDad Posted November 4, 2022 Share Posted November 4, 2022 Caught this one in sections, but I caught a few things. Y’all were talking about scripted plays, this is true, most OC’s I know do this. The first 20-25, or so. One OC I know, he has a 2 min card, before the half, close game at the end, an OT game, he uses that card. On the other side of the ball, a DC that coached a number years, some years in the SEC, his initials are JLD. He’d take the 20-25 passing plays most used, same with run plays. He would set up to defend those plays. Remember this, when the clocks ticking down, they are easy to throw one of those plays out there. The OC with throw one of those play out there, second nature.
