Nutriaitch Posted January 3, 2023 Share Posted January 3, 2023 anyone care to guess what the opening day lineup looks like? my guesses (with last years stats) C - Tyler McManus (.283 ; 10 HR) 1B - Tre' Morgan (.324 ; 5 HR) 2B - Jordan Thompson (.286 ; 6 HR) 3B - Tommy White (.362 ; 27 HR) SS - Gavin Guidry (High School) OF - Dylan Crews (.349 ; 22 HR) OF - Brayden Jobert (.246 ; 18 HR) OF - Gavin Dugas (.306 ; 5 HR) DH - Paul Skenes (.314 ; 13 HR) SP - Bryce Collins (3-1 ; 3.52 EA ; 37 K ; 20 BB) CL - Ty Floyd* (5-4 ; 3.77 ERA ; 70 K ; 23 BB) * I don't think Floyd is a permanent fixture at Closer. Blake Money was the Friday night starter last season, and he is back once again, but he is not going to be the No. 1 pitcher this time. That role is going to Paul Skenes, the transfer from Air Force. Skenes is a 6-foot-6, 235-pound junior right-handed pitcher/utility player. Skenes actually played against LSU in 2021 when the Tigers started the season with Air Force.
