Collegiate Baseball Newspaper released its All-America team on Thursday and 3 LSU players made the cut: pitcher Paul Skenes, outfielder Dylan Crews and 3rd baseman Tommy White.

The team includes 17 of the best players in the country. It has 7 pitchers (3 right-handers, 3 left-handers and 1 reliever) as well as 10 hitters (1 for each of the 8 field positions plus 1 DH and 1 utility player).

LSU is the only team to have 3 All-America honorees on this year’s team. Clemson (2) was the only other program to have multiple All-Americans.

Skenes was also named National Player of the Year by the publication. He’s the first LSU player to win this honor since Lloyd Peever in 1992.
