The Official Visitors

Jeremiah McClellan - Wide Receiver - 2024

Four-star wide receiver Jeremiah McClellan will officially visit LSU on June 2 as he makes his way across the country to check out a few schools. One of the top wideouts in the nation, McClellan will also visit Ohio State (June 9), Tennessee (June 16) and Oregon (June 23).

It’ll be a tour for McClellan who has seen his rise up the recruiting rankings skyrocket over the last few months.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Missouri native has heard from schools all over the country with Ohio State being the program to beat at the moment. With his first official visit of the summer set to be down South with the Tigers, Brian Kelly and Co. will get their chance to make an early impression on the rising prospect.

Joshua Lair - Safety - 2024

Lair has blossomed into one of the more underrated prospects in the 2024 class from a rankings perspective. Despite this, his offer list is as impressive as it gets. With SEC schools in his ear, namely LSU, Tennessee and Texas A&M, among several others, he’s a big-time target for the Tigers.

“This was more than a visit, it was an experience. Thank you for having me!” Lair wrote after his visit in March.

LSU has their foot on the gas for the under the radar prospect who has all the makings of blowing up before or during his senior campaign.

Marcus Mascoll - Offensive Line - 2024

Brian Kelly and Co. are in search of a few offensive linemen to add to their 2024 recruiting class and Mascoll is at the top of their list. A prospect with tremendous upside, Mascoll has made his way to Baton Rouge before, but now taking his official, it’s a big weekend for LSU to make another impression.

Mascoll has seen the Tigers turn up the heat over the last few months, and with this program getting the monstrous lineman to campus, it’s a big win for this program.

The Unofficial Visitors

George MacIntyre - Quarterback - 2025

MacIntyre is a 4-star, Top 60 prospect in the 2025 class with an offer list growing at a rapid pace as of late. The No. 1 player in Tennessee already boasts an offer sheet of over 17 programs with LSU being the latest to offer.

At 6-foot-5, 185 pounds, MacIntyre is your prototypical signal-caller in the SEC and has seen his game evolve significantly after a standout sophomore campaign. A slender frame, developing size will clearly be of the utmost importance, but from a fundamentals standpoint, the youngster showed it all in his first year starting on varsity.

MacIntyre is also a standout on the hardwood with Power Five interest in basketball. A dual-sport athlete, it shows in his footwork when in the pocket. Look for his steady rise to continue as he enters his junior season next fall with LSU beginning to get their foot in the door early.

Joel Rogers - Safety - 2024

Rogers is another in-state target LSU has their eye on in a big way, and as he prepares for his senior season, LSU is taking charge of his recruitment. After electing to make this weekend’s visit unofficial rather than official, Rogers could return sooner rather than later.

A big target for this program, we’ve seen Kelly and this staff turn up the heat for one of the top Louisiana prospects. After a tremendous junior season, Rogers has all the makings of taking that next step in his final run of high school ball.

Noteworthy Information:

Five-star offensive lineman Jonathan Daniels will have to reschedule his visit with the Tigers. A prospect who was expected to be in town this weekend for an official visit, his plans changed at the last second after a family emergency occurred.

Daniels, who was the headliner for this weekend, is expected to make his way to Baton Rouge sooner rather than later.

LSU Offers Fast-Rising 2025 Quarterback Tavien St. Clair

Tigers handed out several offers on Friday, receive surprise visit from the 2025 quarterback.

ZACK NAGY

When Brian Kelly accepted the job at LSU, he knew his recruiting resources would be the best in the country. With such a large talent pool in the South, it’s benefitted him greatly, but he’s looking to continue taking it nationally.

The latest offer he dished out went to Ohio native Tavien St. Clair. A four-star quarterback who’s quickly on the rise, Kelly and his staff made sure to get in on the action early.

A 2025 signal-caller who picked up an offer from Ohio State last week and LSU on Saturday, it didn’t stop there. Following an offer from the Tigers, Nick Saban and the Menstrual Wave extended a scholarship his way.

LSU has now offered three quarterbacks in the 2025 class: George MacIntyre, Bryce Underwood and now St. Clair.

Underwood, the No. 1 gunslinger in the country, has already taken a visit to Baton Rouge and will be back this summer for another one.

As for MacIntyre, the No. 2 ranked quarterback in America is fresh off of a visit to Death Valley from June 2-3.

The gifted quarterbacks continue stacking offers but the Tigers are making sure to get in on their recruitment as early as possible in order to develop relationships. It’s Kelly’s favorite part of the process and it’s clear his intentions here.

With Jayden Daniels returning for his final season in Baton Rouge and Garrett Nussmeier looking to be the guy to follow in his footsteps, it’s obvious the plans Kelly has when it comes to recruiting 2025 quarterbacks.

Here’s a look into the trio of quarterbacks LSU has offered:

George MacIntyre - Nashville (Tenn.) Brentwood Academy

Bryce Underwood - Belleville High School (Michigan)

The No. 1 quarterback in the 2025 class, it’s for good reason. The youngster has proven just how dominant he can be in the high school game after lighting it up during both his freshman and sophomore campaigns.

As a freshman, Underwood threw for 2,888 yards, 39 TD's, and four INTs, adding six rushing TDs. In addition to a dominant stat sheet, he also led Belleville to a 13-1 record and the Michigan Division I state championship.

The Tigers are one of 30 schools to offer Underwood as his recruitment explodes before what many expect to be an eye-opening junior season. With a developed frame, standing at 6-foot-2, 200 pounds Underwood is already looking physically prepared for the next level.

Tavien St. Clair - Bellefontaine High School (Ohio)

St. Clair is in the midst of a monstrous offseason ahead of his junior campaign. He’s stacked offers from Ohio State, LSU and Alabama, among others as his meteoric rise continues this summer.

For LSU quarterbacks coach Joe Sloan, he’s made sure to get in on the action sooner rather than later. After a visit to Baton Rouge over the weekend, Sloan and the Tigers coaching staff made sure to extend a scholarship his way.

Within the same hour, Alabama offensive coordinator Tommy Rees called up St. Clair and offered him to get in on the action.

The 6-foot-4, 210-pounder has the prototypical size college programs are looking for, and as he continues sharpening his skill set, his rise up the rankings could be monumental.

During his sophomore season in 2022, St. Clair went 208-294 on his passing attempts (71%) with 25 touchdowns and just four interceptions. Look for the youngster to take that next step during his junior campaign in 2023.
