LSUDad
Remember what you’ve seen the last 10 days… The most dominant pitcher in the country. The greatest all around player in the country. On the same team. The most athletic first baseman ever to play the position. On the same team. The bombs from White and Beloso. The Skenes vs Lowder masterpiece. The Morgan to Milazzo play at the plate. The Ackenhausen Start. Dugas playing through pain and coming through in the clutch. Cooper, Herring, and the rest of the bullpen. Ty Floyd’s 17 Ks. Pearson’s catch in left. 24-4. 64,808 jello shots. Yes, 64,808 and climbing. Hurd pitching a gem in the title game. Crews slamming into the wall to make the catch. Jobert’s bat blowing up. Milazzo giving it all to score. The guts of Jordan Thompson. Guidry, just a freshman, slamming the door. Skenes carrying his injured catcher to the dogpile. Remember what you’ve seen the last 10 days… So you can tell your kids and grandkids. We’ll never see one better, not even close Greatest CWS Ever. ForeverLSU! What a great day to be a tiger!

houtiger
You know, if the game was tied and Milazzo was coming home, and you told him he'd have to jump over the catcher to land on home plate, and he'd break his fibula to win the game, I think he'd say yes, and twice on Sunday. He looked like a dedicated young man! I didn't see any regret over the broken leg, it will heal.
