Fishhead
LSU cornerback Patrick Peterson dazzled the Chick-fil-A College Kickoff crowd with a school-record 257 return yards (157 punt/100 kickoff), including an 87-yard touchdown as part of 23-0 LSU run in less than six mintes. Speedy wide receiver Russell Shepard scored LSU’s first two touchdowns of the season, the second being a 50-yard run on the heels of a Peterson kickoff return to midfield. 14 then forced a fumble on a possession that shouldn't have even occurred, and the Tigers recovered to put the game away. Les Miles honestly should've been fired that night lol. It was another of those games where a win felt like a loss. But Peterson was amazing and the only reason the Tigers had enough of a lead to hold on to.

Nutriaitch
oh, but I think Jontre Kirkland deserves a mention in this thread. never turned out to be a stud here, but goddammit if he's not a true Tiger, then no one is
LSUfan71
Hodson has to be first at #13. I know I'm not the only one here who's old enough to have watched him play...

Hatchertiger
Corey Webster came to LSU as a receiver and left as an All-American DB. He sealed the deal against Georgia in ‘03 by picking off David Green to essentially end the game.
