top 12 teams in conference go to Hoover.

as of now, we would be the 11 seed.

Magic number to clinch a spot is 8 in SEC Tourney
any combination of LSU wins or Missouri losses drops that number.

I'm going to guess we need 7 (conference) wins to get into a regional.
or 6 conference wins a deep run at the SEC Tourney.

Magic Number for Hoover is down to 1.

1 LSU win or 1 Missouri loss (vs Mississippi State) gets us into the SEC Tournament.

we could theoretically still get as high as the 8 seed or as low as the 12.

• go 1-2 (or 0-3 with a Mizzou loss) and we're the 12 seed no matter what else happens in the league
• go 2-1 we're the 11 seed

We can jump Florida for the 10 seed if we win 2 more games than they do. (we go 2-1 they get swept ; or we sweep and they go 1-2)

We can jump Alabama and/or Vandy if we win 3 more games than they do (we sweep ; they get swept)

at 13 wins, we are exactly at the "cut-off" point for regionals.
meaning we likely need to win at least a game or two at the SEC Tourney to get in.

at this point, I think we are solidly in the field.

the question that still remains is if we can get a 2-seed in a winnable regional.
if so, that keeps a glimmer of hope alive to play the Supers at The Box.
