I saw this on facebook.  don't know how reliable it is, but I have wondered when we would see Toviano.  Keep your ears to the ground....

"Javien Toviano is going to play Star the rest of the season, Brian Kelly said, after LSU coaches talked this week about settling his position. They think he’s better closer to the line of scrimmage, and that would let Major Burns move back to safety again if necessary."

BK said going into the bye week the coaches would evaluate positions and the rotations were finished, they would pick their guys for the rest of the season, the SEC gauntlet.

SEC fines LSU $250,000 after fans storm field after overtime upset vs. Ole Miss

LSU has been fined $250,000 by the Southeastern Confrerence after its fans stormed the field following Saturday’s 29-26 overtime win over Ole Miss.

This fine comes one week after the SEC fined both Arkansas and Vanderbilt for their respective upsets in Week 6.

The last time LSU fans stormed the field came in October 2022, which coincidentally came against the then No. 7 Rebels as well. Before that, the last field storm could be traced back to the Tigers’ win over No. 2 Georgia in 2018.

However, in 2023 the SEC increased fines levied against football and basketball field/court storming. The first offense will cost schools $100,000. The second will cost $250,000 and after that all incidents will sum up to a costly $500,000. Each university’s field-stroming slate was wiped clean after it was implemented, meaning the 2022 and 2018 field-storming was not be counted regarding this case. However, basketball court stormings count toward that total as well.

Regardless, it was a massive comeback victory for the Tigers. Trailing by a touchdown in the final minute it took Tigers quarterback Garrett Nussmeier two snaps to turn the game around entirely.
