houtiger
I'm back. I read that this game matches the only 2 teams in the SEC that are undefeated in league play! Very important game!
houtiger
LSU is a 2.5 point underdog, with the Vegas oddsmakers giving A&M the home field advantage. The O/U is 53. "Texas A&M is the first team to win 4 games in SEC play this season and while it still ranks 13th in rushing production, it’s still only 107th among 134 FBS teams in passing output." A&M has 4 SEC wins, but only 1 is impressive. They beat Florida (33-20), Arky (21-17), impressive win over #9 at the time Missouri (41-10), and Miss. State (34-24). This should be an interesting game, I expect a close one like the oddsmakers. Two quality teams. If A&M has not shown a passing attack yet, I expect we will let Stamps and Alexander try to cover A&M receivers man to man and try to stop the run. The longer that holds up, the better we are. On offense, we want to be balanced, but our run game has been spotty. If aTm can stop the run, at least we have good pass blocking to Nuss to hit receivers. I like LSU to win this one. The offseason acquisitions thru the portal at DT has been a key to this season. Without that we'd be dead now. Credit to the new DL coach for identifying the talent and getting them here, then coaching them up.
