houtiger
I think a few years ago we all gave up on Tiger ever winning another major tournament, perhaps even winning a tournament at all. We were wrong. Of course, the key was some new medical surgery, I will have to do some searching and see if I can find out what he had done, but he came back. Beside the surgery, one would have to ask if he could start a comeback at 40, he is 43 now. Damned impressive. I saw an interview with him and they asked him about coming back after 40. He said it takes everything, perfect nutrition, workouts, ice baths, practice. He said it is not pleasant (the baths), but it is possible for athletes to push back time a bit, but you have to do everything just right.
houtiger
He said all his children have ever seen is golf injure him. He is thankful just to play, and to be able to share with his kids what he used to be, a golf champion. They were there to greet him with his mom, when he came off the 18 green. That must have been a very special moment!
