LSUDad Posted June 12, 2019 Share Posted June 12, 2019 When Chaisson went out with a knee injury after the first game of last season, LSU's defense was never the same. Without the hybrid outside linebacker/defensive end, who had a sack, a tackle for loss and a quarterback hurry in the opener against Miami, the pass rush dried up. And while it might not have been apparent how much that was the case for most of the season, against top-tier teams such as Alabama it showed up. houtiger Posted June 12, 2019 Share Posted June 12, 2019 Mike Divinity showed promise last year playing on the outside. He's not as dynamic as Chaisson, but I hope the techniques he learned last year on the outside LB as a pass rusher come in handy this year from the middle.
