The LSU offense has turned heads across the country during the 2019 season, and on Saturday night against Arkansas, the Tigers pulled off another record-breaking moment.

With a touchdown pass from quarterback Joe Burrow to wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase, LSU locked up one of the most head-turning records yet.

LSU is the first team in Southeastern Conference history to have a 4,000-yard passer (Burrow), two 1,000-yard receivers (Chase and Justin Jefferson) and a 1,000-yard rusher (Clyde Edwards-Helaire) in the same season.

Chase and Jefferson both entered the game with more than 1,000 receiving yards, with Chase sitting at 1,116 yards and 13 touchdowns after nine games played and Jefferson recording 1,010 yards and 11 touchdowns across the first 10 games of the year.

Burrow entered the game with 3,687 passing yards on 268-of-341 attempts, posting 38 touchdown passes and six interceptions across the 10-0 start. By the time the Tigers took a 42-6 lead in the third quarter, Burrow took a seat to allow backup Myles Brennan into the game. Burrow finished with 327 passing yards and three touchdowns on 23-of-28 pass attempts.

Edwards-Helaire entered the game with 958 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns on 158 carries, averaging more than six yards per carry and 96 yards per game on the year. By the time he took in his second touchdown against the Razorbacks, Edwards-Helaire was leading LSU in both receptions and carries with a stat line of five carries for 99 yards and two touchdowns, (19.8 yards per touch) with seven catches on seven targets for 65 yards (9.3 yards per catch).

Edwards-Helaire is a semifinalist for the Doak Walker Award - given annually to the nation's best running back - and the Paul Hornung Award, given to the most versatile player in college football. Jefferson and Chase are both semifinalists for the Biletnikoff Award, given each year to the best receiver in college football.

Burrow remains in the mix for a number of individual awards after the 2019 season, including a spot as the odds on favorite to win the Heisman Trophy.
