dachsie
So I had a crazy idea and thought it would be fun to see what everyone thought; If we were to build an LSU team with current and Former players, Who would you pick to put on that team? It would be the LSU dream team. I'll Start with a few players and lets see who we could add: Joe Burreaux Tyrann "Honeybadger" Mathieu Patrick Peterson Glenn Dorsey Jarvis Landry Odell Beckham, Jr Leonard Fournette Cole Tracy Devin White Danielle Hunter OK - this is a few that I liked - I could probably add more
houtiger
Should probably do 2 teams, one pre-1990 and one post 1990. Can you compare Tommy Casanova to Patrick Peterson? Kids come out of high school today and know they are shooting for the NFL, it is their full time occupation and has been for maybe 10 years. They get a lot of outside coaching, unless their Dad is a coach like PP7 and they train a lot harder. I don't think it was that way back in the day, you just had some great natural athletes, but they were not in full time pursuit of the NFL, which did not even pay that well in the 60's and 70's. Consider, Billy Canon, Tommy Casanova, Bert Jones, Charles Alexander, Fred Miller on defense, Johnny Robinson, Michael Brooks at LB, Wendell Davis at WR.

Lavalais was simply beast in 2003 though.

Honey Badger was electric, but it wasn't until the final regular season game against Arky and the SECCG against UGA that he actually returned punts for TDs.
