LSU won a basketball shooting contest against Oklahoma ahead of Saturday’s Peach Bowl because of some clutch shooting from who else. Luckily for those of us who weren’t there, LSUsports.net’s Emily Villere Dixon was on hand and shared a video on Twitter of Burrow’s hot shooting (10-of-12) from the free-throw line and three-point line. Burrow’s skills on the hardwood are no surprise to those who know about his days at Athens High School where he racked up four all-division honors and, as a senior, made All-State and was the TVC-Ohio Player of the Year. Joe Burrow had a record-setting season on his way to becoming the first ever Tigers quarterback to bring home the Heisman and only the second player at the university to take home that honor. However, the legend continues for the Ohio native. The Tigers are in Atlanta to take on the Oklahoma Sooners in the Peach Bowl. As he looks to lead the Tigers to a National Championship game appearance, Joe proved he is deadly from deep. There is really only one thing that can be said at this point: Joe Burrow . . .
