COTiger
on the current season. I watched the Tigers beat a pretty good Arkansas team last night to improve their season record to 10 -4.
Fishhead
Football season for a few more days. This bball team is EXTREMELY talented, but young and no bigs. Wade will probably have them playing at a high level soon enough, but the lack of size is gonna bite us at some point. Still, 2-0 in conference so far. No complaints here.
Herb
Yeah, it's a function of the football championship a few days away...I expect there also to be a hangover for a week or so before people really start getting excited. We'll heat up after that. Basketball is hard for some fans because of the quicker turnover from high school to NBA...just as we get to know a good player they are off to the NBA so we don't get a longer bonding period. The ability for fans to 'mentally adopt' players is a much smaller window.
COTiger
The Tigers couldn't throw it in the Gulf of Mexico for 39 3/4 minutes. They trailed Miss St by 1 with 8 seconds left. Had to bring it up full court and Mays hit an off balance jumper as time ran out to get a big W for the Tigers. Herb
LSU fans that have NOT been paying attention to basketball should start tuning in. Look at the tear that LSU is on against SEC opponents: Florida is up Tuesday night at 6:00 PM and televised on the SEC Network. If you're near Baton Rouge, tickets start at $5. These are exciting games...look at the final scores above...most are decided by one or two baskets.

COTiger
Most of the game we've had a double digit point lead. In the past 10 minutes we can't throw it in the ocean. Lead is down to 6 points.
