HOWEVER, next time you are at the Dome, walk up to a distracted security guard and slap him on the ass, then mean-mug him when he turns around. Report back to us on how that worked out for you.

Report back to us on how that worked out for you. In this day and age, you can't mess around like that. OBJ will end up having to pay the man some money. You watch. Quote Saying it was against building policy, a Mercedes-Benz Superdome police officer was telling LSU football players to extinguish their victory cigars Monday night in the jubilant locker room minutes after winning the national championship when he felt LSU alum and NFL pro Odell Beckham Jr. slap him on the backside. The 48-year-old lieutenant suppressed the urge to punch Beckham in retaliation, called the New Orleans Police Department two days later and told investigators he wanted to press charges, according to court records. ... The NOPD officer leading the investigation into the case initially applied for a warrant to arrest Beckham on a count of misdemeanor sexual battery, which Louisiana law defines as the intentional touching of the breasts or buttocks of a victim who did not consent. But Magistrate Court Commissioner Melvin Zeno rejected the application, determining “that the elements of the crime did not rise to that of sexual battery but rather that of a simple battery.” Police then reapplied for an arrest warrant accusing Beckham of simple battery, a misdemeanor defined as a "battery committed without the consent of the victim." https://www.nola.com/news/crime_police/article_038e14d2-3886-11ea-a157-4f1a474a79cf.html
Nutriaitch
Odell needs to thank his lord and savior that the guy was a rent-a-cop and not actually NOPD. PD would have tased him, then pummeled his eccentric ass. They don’t have the reputation they do by accident.

Son and I were at the '07 NC game in NOLA. There was a male Ohio State fan going at it verbally all game with a female LSU fan across the aisle. He was getting drunker and more mad as the game went on as it dawned on him his beloved Buckeyes were not going to win. Not sure what prompted in but he walked across the aisle and put his hand on her and she shoved it away but he still stood there mouthing off. About five minutes later she gets up and walks away and returns with four of New Orleans finest. As the officers approach him, genius gets up quickly and "bows" up on them. The first officer to reach him grabbed him by the shoulders and shoved him down into the seat. He then proceeded to rip him a new one almost nose to nose to nose. Well that was the end of that. He gone.

LSUDad
Well... Former Texas star Emmanuel Acho says Longhorn DBs were paid $1,000 for each INT in 2009 title game vs. InbredGumps Adam Spencer | 2 days ago Following the 2009 season, the Alabama Crimson Tide beat the Texas Longhorns 37-24 in the BCS National Championship Game, claiming their first title under Nick Saban. Now, in the wake of Odell Beckham Jr. being spotted handing out cash to LSU players following the Tigers’ title win over Clemson on Monday, a former Texas defender is saying it’s not a big deal. 00:26 04:39 In fact, according to former Texas star Emmanuel Acho on Thursday morning’s episode of “Get Up!” on ESPN, Longhorn defensive backs were told before the title game against Alabama that they’d be paid $1,000 for every interception they grabbed (via 247Sports “We went to the national championship game in 2009 and … it was public to the team, for every interception the defensive back got, they were going to get $1,000,” Acho said of Texas’ 37-21 loss to the Crimson Tide on Jan. 7, 2010. “For every pick y’all got against Alabama in the national championship game, you’re going to get $1,000. Now, the difference is we just didn’t do it publicly on the field. “What my problem is, though, everybody masquerades Odell Beckham as a guy who thinks, ‘Oh, I plotted this out. I’m going to go out, hand this money and they’re going to talk about me on Get Up. That’s not what he’s thinking. That’s not what he’s thinking.” Texas only managed to snag one interception against Alabama, while the Crimson Tide got 4 picks. However, if Acho was to be believed, Blake Gideon earned himself a cool $1,000 in that game.

You had one drunk jackass misbehave. You should not punish all alumni forever. That punishment does not fit the crime. But, each team should appoint a sideline monitor with the authority to tell security to escort an impaired or misbehaving individual from the sideline, and if they decide to escort him out of the stadium, so be it. Maybe on the back of your sideline pass the rules are written out. If you have a problem with one person, deal with it at the individual level. It is very seldom that you see a person misbehave so badly on the sideline, but we did see it with a drunk Joe Namath trying to kiss a sportscaster while she interviewed him. Of course that was an NFL game, not college.
