August 12 - September 24, 1991 (ok, so 44 days) i can’t come up with any other stretch as prolific with truly great and influential albums as this one. 8/12: Metallica - “Metallica” (the black album) 8/27: Pearl Jam - “Ten” 9/17: Ozzy Osbourne - “No More Tears” ; Gun ‘N Roses “Use Your Illusion I” & “Use Illusion II” 9/24: Soundgarden - “Badmotorfinger” ; Red Hot Chili Peppers - “Blood Sugar sex Magik” ; Nirvana - “Nevermind” HO LEE CRAP what a run of music! also released earlier that year: Temple of the Dog - “Temple of the Dog” Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
