Beaucoup Cajun Superette, some friends told me about this place. Haven’t been there yet, but they say, the Boudin Dip is the best thing you’ll ever put in your mouth. Next trip across the Spillway, I’m making a stop. Bread Pudding Muffins is another thing they said to try.

Don't let the Breaux Bridge address fool you. That store is along the Atchafalaya levee south of I-10 on the way to Butte LaRose

Yep I know, you ever been there?

No I haven't. Driven past it many times though.

How can you just drive past a place with food many times, without stopping? Will power? 😆

Well I’m gonna stop next trip to BTR.
That might be one of my problems, I can’t drive past too many places without stopping in.
Like I said, one of my problems, cause I got a million of them.

Beaucoup hasn't been open all that long. I believe it was Hal's Grocery that last time I passed in front.  Be sure to take the Butte LaRose exit and not try and get there  through Henderson aka "Hannason" as the road along the levee is collapsing and is down to one lane.

Thanks Hatch, I’ll exit, then head south.

Friend who lives there along the Atchafalaya River told me its been open about a year. Says the boudin dip is unreal.  May have to take a drive out there this weekend.

I might stop there tomorrow on my way to BTR. Plus on my way back to Cypress, make another stop.

Well, how is it?

Like they said, some of the best stuff ever. The owner gave me a sample taste, I bought 4 containers. Giving away 2 today. On my trip back to Tx, I’m picking up at least 4 more.

What's in it - it's something I cant wrap my head around

It’s kind of like a Egg or Chicken Salad. They also have a Bread Pudding Cupcake.

On the way back to Tx, only made one stop, Billy’s Boudin. So I’m going to try and make my own Boudin  Dip, I’m thinking of 4 different ways of making. I’ll let you know how they taste.
