Fishhead Posted December 20, 2020 Share Posted December 20, 2020 I heard (read) someone mention this is LSU's worst season since 1999. I guess in ways it is, no doubt actually. Defense has been HORRENDOUS! However, this was regarding record only. I'll say this. 2008 LSU finished the regular season 7-5 having beaten Appalachian State, North Texas, Troy, and Tulane. Of those 12 games, 8 were played in Tiger Stadium. Compare to this season. LSU played 10 games, ALL conference games, and only 4 in Tiger Stadium. LSU went .500 in the SEC and .500 both at home and away. In 2008, LSU went 3-5 in the SEC, losing to Arkansas, Alabama, Ole goldenshower, Georgia, and Florida. I'd say 2008 was our worst season this century overall.
