Hatchertiger Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 You could argue that in occurred on September 20, 2003 LSU v. Jawja @ 2:30PM. LSU fans were basking in the glory of 3 winning seasons, 3 straight bowl appearances and an SEC Championship. Many had put the disasters of the 90s behind them and wondered if LSU had made it to the proverbial "next level". The crowd was electric that day. LSU took a 10-3 lead into the fourth quarter. With 4:25 left to play in the game Tyson Browning hauled in a screen pass from David Greene and took it 93 yards to tie the game. You'd expect that to silence the home crowd right? Most times yes. Not that day. The chants of L-S-U L-S-U were the loudest I've ever personally witnessed in the stadium. Devery Henderson had a great return on the ensuing kickoff. And with 1:22 left in the game Matt Mauck found Skylar Green in the endzone for a 34 yard touchdown!!!! The stadium went wild and I'll never forget that feeling. Corey Webster picked off Greene to end any thoughts of a comeback. Lots of good times followed!!!!!!!!!!! wsgeaux Posted October 13, 2018 Posted October 13, 2018 That was the best (and possibly loudest) LSU game I’ve been to.
