Nutriaitch Posted October 29, 2018 Share Posted October 29, 2018 i’m happy with what we’ve seen in a very limited sample size. but that sample size is not nearly enough to fairly grade them. Etling getting better from year one to year two, so did Mett. we now know enough to reasonably assume Mett’s improvement was largely due to experience and the game slowing down for him, and not necessarily because of Cam’s guidance. Had it been largely thanks to Cam, then we should have at least seen a glimmer of hope from someone else, but we never did. is that what happened with Etling and happening with Burrow? we have no idea. and we won’t until we see a QB(s) go through an entire career with O and his staff. E may turn out to be a guru and we have solid QB play for years. Or he may be a dud and the moment we’re depending on one of his guys we go back to a QB graveyard. its not fair to project it either way without seeing something one way or another.
