When Saban and Jimbo came to LSU, they needed another QB on the roster, Jimbo call a coach he and I both know, asked about QB’s in La. Jimbo was told that the QB at Glen Oaks High, Coached by Nolan Gill, was going to Southern University, a guy with a strong arm, one that Jimbo could work with. Jimbo and nick went to the high school, worked him out, offered that day. The rest, is history! The coach Jimbo called, helped LSU sign Kevin Faulk, an had coached with Jimbo at Auburn, both Coaching with Terry Bowden. He also signed Jamie Howard, Alan Faneca, Eddie Kennison, and s bunch more.
