I watched the Tulane game last night and the sad reality is that Tulane (even though Houston ended up opening a can of whoop ass on them) runs the ball more effectively than we do. Most effective running backs need to have 15+ "touches" per game in order to hit the opposing defense in their mouth. 5 carries per back in a game is a travesty. Jeremy Hill used to fart that number of carries in his sleep. Unfortunately, these days when LSU fans get together to discuss a game it is as somber as an AA meeting.
