I have it set to record.  I will watch it and see if we get the effort we got against Florida, or the one from Ole Miss.  If we get the Ole Miss effort, the game could be over before halftime.  If its real ugly, I'll just delete the recording.  I think Saban can pick his score, and we'll be playing the second and third string in the second half.  I made a wonderful lasagne last night, looking forward to eating supper tonight, got some good red wine.  My daughter in law's parents are both from Mexico and they brought me a bottle of Patron, and I have some Cointreau so I may make a prime margarita for pregame.

You may need that margarita to get thru the game.  🤣

I suspect he will need more than one.

The Tide is currently a 28 point favorite.  If Nick wants to run it up I think they could easily double that.

My sister and I were at the Scarlet Pearl Casino, I told her to bet the Colts on Thursday Night football. I did also, we both won. Then I told her to bet the over. Another win.
We both took Gumps today.
My sister hit a couple weeks ago, picture below. Last night she hit $1,000 after 4 pulls.

I heard of the 'prevent defense' but going for it on 4th & 8 inside the 10 might be the 'prevent offense'.

More context...

Down 6 and defense kicking ass. Stupidity.

Had we kicked there, down 3, defense got us the ball back TWICE after that.

Yep.

We probably would have had to win in regulation and we had every opportunity to do that.

No way Johnson wins an overtime shootout with Young.

I have to say I enjoyed that game way more that I thought I would.  Proud of the defense for hanging in there and holding the Gumps to 7 rushing yds.  Would have preferred we scored more of course, but I think the stat I saw was we broke the Gump's record of scoring high (30pts or more?).  It was like for 35 games or something like that.

Good job Tigers!

I agree Dachs!  I enjoyed the game, the Tigers FOUGHT!   The defense played well.  The secondary did as well as they probably could, given who was on the field.  Darren Evans looks like he improved a lot over last year, he's stronger and he played well.  I never heard of Pig Cage, where did he come from?  I thought the secondary tried hard.  The d-line played pretty well, and the LB.  On offense, that's another story.  I don't think Max is the answer at QB, it has been said before, he holds the ball too long.  When they rolled Max out, he was not accurate while he was moving.  But, the season is shot, so I agree with redshirting Nussmeir.  That means Nuss can only play in one more game this season.  I'm OK with that.  I would guess that Woodward is controlling decisions like that, possible with input from Ensminger.

All of that said, this year's Gumps team is NOT the equal of 2020's team, that put out 6 first round draft picks.  But they are still a good solid crew.  I had a co-worker who was a Gumps grad, he was on the film crew and filmed all Gumps games, home and away (he liked going to Tiger Stadium).  When they hired Saban he asked what I thought.  I told him, one thing about Saban is that the team will always be well prepared and ready to play.  You may not win every game, but you won't lose big.  That is what I saw with Gumps last night, not a great team, but a good solid team that is well prepared.  The bad news is that Bryce Young will only get better at QB, and he has at least one more season, or two.

I will tell you one guy that has not given up, Austin Deculus.  He played with all he had, looked emotional walking off the field.
