I'm interested to see Arky's offense under Kendal Briles (Art Briles' son). There was some talk of him becoming our OC a couple of years back.

Kendal was the OC at Baylor, the DC at that time, Phil Bennett. I would often make games in Waco, nice area, a beautiful river walk to the stadium, from a nice bar.
I went to get a Coke, no Coke, I said, ok, Pepsi, the girl, no Pepsi. They only have RC Cola. Seems a Baylor Graduate owns the franchise.

only by fans not capable of thinking things through.

at the time the dude was literally mentioned BY NAME in a rape lawsuit.

no way in hell was LSU ever going to even hint at him accidentally passing through Baton Rouge on his way to Florida from Texas.

He was hired by Lane Kiffen as Offensive Coordinator at Florida Atlantic after losing his job at Baylor.

The FAU President said they investigated the matter and found no evidence other than an accusation by a woman who sued Baylor that Briles had asked one recruit if he liked white women. There was no corroboration and he was cleared by an NCAA investigation.

Not sure what you mean Herb, Max played the first two series, did not move the team, Nuss went in and never came out.  Nuss showed better mobility, avoided some sacks, threw some good balls, but ultimately threw two picks that hurt us badly.

We should not underestimate what it cost the team to lose Myles Brennan for the season.  Based on the first three games of last season and what we saw this year, I think Brennan was the best choice going into the year.  We had the kind of QB spacing you want, a Sr. with a soph and freshman waiting.  Max and Nuss will both get better IMO.

Myles should have stayed at least til season was over before entering the portal

Entering the portal does not mean he has already left.  He is still an LSU Tiger - at least for now.

By entering the Portal, other schools are allowed to contact him and talk to him about transferring. Brennan then gets to decide if he wants to go to another school or stay at LSU.

There is a chance that Myles could wait to see who the new HC is and decide to stay at LSU if he feels he would be able to start and play his entire final year. However, it does appear that he has pretty much made the final decision to move on.
