LSUDad Posted September 17, 2022 Share Posted September 17, 2022 55 years ago today. The New Orleans Saints played their 1st professional regular season game ever vs the Los Angeles Rams.. On the opening kickoff John Gilliam ran the ball back 94 yards for a Touchdown vs. the Rams in old Tulane Stadium. Before Covid hit, my cousin had only missed one home game, since this opening day!
