most people in Academia can't stand that football coaches make such obscene amounts in comparison to them.

because despite being college educated, they do not understand how basic economics work.

No one buys a ticket to see kids in a classroom take a test. I have a few stories about college education. How I had to teach the professors.

His beef was mostly due to legitimate expenses for a class/seminar taught oversees that the university accounting department hounded him for justifications for yet they accidentally lose $1 million by double paying Kelly.

ok, so different part, but he still doesn't grasp how public funding works.

He even stated he was audited by the same Legislative Auditor that the football program was.

because, well, publicly funded universities have to account for where all of the money is being spent.
even legitimate expenses for his work.
