BATON ROUGE – Six members from LSU’s 2018 football team have been officially invited to take part in the NFL Combine, which starts later this month in Indianapolis.

LSU’s list of NFL Combine invites include: safety John Battle, running back Nick Brossette, tight end Foster Moreau, kicker Cole Tracy, linebacker Devin White and cornerback Greedy Williams.

The NFL Combine takes place starting on February 26 and runs through March 4 at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

The NFL Network will provide coverage of the on-field portion of the combine starting on March 1 when the running backs, offensive line, kickers and other special teams players have their workout.

On March 2, quarterbacks, wide receivers and tight ends have their workouts, followed by the defensive line and linebackers on March 3 and the defensive backs on March 4.

LSU is currently projected to have two first round draft picks in White and Williams, who are both listed as top 10 selections by most publications.

All of LSU’s draft-eligible players will take part in Pro Day on the LSU campus on Friday, March 22.

Former LSU running back Nick Brossette officially ran a 4.62 in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis on Friday.

The unofficial time on his first attempt was recorded at 4.72. His second attempt was unofficially 4.75 seconds.

On Thursday, Brossette totaled 15 repetitions in the bench press, which was the second-fewest of players at his position.

The Baton Rouge native and former University High player will also participate in position drills and the broad jump later today.

At LSU, Brossette rushed for 1,039 yards and 14 touchdowns as a senior.

He ranked third in the SEC for rushing yards.

Brossette, one of six LSU players at the Combine, describes himself as a complete back.

"Catch the ball, run between the tackles, pass protection," Brossette told The Advocate. "I feel like that's my biggest attribute I can bring to whoever drafts me."

Greedy just posted a 4.38. He rich.

Looked good in the 40,drills, missed too much. Ended up with leg cramps. Not what you want in the combine. Will have to do better in the LSU Pro Day.

John Battle #LSU Safety runs a 4.68 - 40 yard dash  #NFLCombine2019.

Battle won't be drafted. He followed it with an even slower time

I want to see what he runs at the LSU Pro Day, just a guess, a better time.
