That’s, have both OT drafted into the NFL, the same year. ND’s Blake Fisher and Joe Alt, this year. LSU to follow next year with Will Campbell and Emery Jones. Kelly’s time at ND, he had 11 players drafted into the NFL. In 2021, he had 3 OL drafted, both OT’s and a guard. Next year, we could see 4 of the 5 starting OL drafted, from LSU. The two OG should have a shot in the NFL Draft also. Another LSU OL, Center Charles Turner, might have a shot at getting drafted. At least a UDFA shot. The NFL announced the 13 prospects confirmed as of Thursday night, and Southeastern Conference schools Alabama and LSU each will have three players in that group. The SEC leads all conferences with seven players in attendance, including Missouri defensive lineman Darius Robinson. Alabama’s representatives will feature linebacker Dallas Turner, offensive lineman JC Latham and cornerback Terrion Arnold. Quarterback Jayden Daniels leads the LSU contingent along with wide receivers Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. The Chicago Bears hold the No. 1 pick overall. Williams is among three Pac-12 players attending in person along with Washington wide receiver Rome Odunze and UCLA defensive lineman Laiatu Latu. North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye is the Atlantic Coast Conference’s lone player set to attend, while Ohio State Marvin Harrison Jr. will be the Big Ten’s only representative. The New York Giants rookie first-rounder shared on Friday that he purchased a new home for his mom last week. Nabers signed a four-year contract that’s worth $29.2 million, which is fully guaranteed, on Friday. “That was the most important thing in my life, having her have her own house and feel comfortable and not having to worry about bills to pay,” Nabers told reporters at rookie minicamp. “And know that her little boy did it for her.” Nabers’ rookie contract includes a signing bonus of $18.062 million. As a first-round pick, he has a fifth-year option in his contract that allows the Giants to hold on to him through the 2028 season. The contract was originally announced as a $3 million deal that could reach $8.25 million due to incentives. Beckham caught 35 passes for 565 yards last season with the Baltimore Ravens and his 16.1 yards per reception ranked eighth among receivers. Beckham caught five touchdowns in eight games with the Los Angeles Rams in 2021 but found the end zone just three times last season in Baltimore’s run-heavy offense. He reportedly chose to sign with the Dolphins to play in Mike McDaniel’s offense, according to Josina Anderson. Miami offered him multiple contracts and eventually convinced the 2014 offensive rookie of the year to sign in South Florida — at a price they could afford. Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle will continue headlining Miami’s passing attack but the three-time Pro Bowler will fit right into McDaniel’s quick-strike offense with something to prove in 2024. Throughout the process #Dolphins players continued to reach out to @obj to let him know he was wanted in Miami. Odell Beckham Jr. harvested a good kinship with head coach Mike McDaniel during his initial visit with the team in March. OBJ was genuinely excited about discussions over the Dolphins offense & coach's analysis of his skill-set during his time in town.
